“I think it’s scary!” Prana covers her mouth like she’s very frightened. “No wonder you never want to go to sleep.”
“Here is my happy picture. I made a special pet so that he has special magic,” said Dharma.
“Is that a baby bunny and a unicorn mixed?” asked Prana.
“Yes! His name is BUNICORN!” said Dharma hugging the picture. “I’m going to try to make a real BUNICORN after I take my special magic class.”
“I can’t wait.” said her mommy.
“Buni has special powers. She can use her horn like we can use wands. Except she is born with it, and we have to earn ours,” said Dharma making wild movements with a wand pretending it’s coming out of her head.
“Mommy, look at my Kooky monster buster wand ShamanananananannnnnaaaaaHaHa gave me to turn the monster into BUNI. I picked out the purple and pink glitter colors. …and they all had sparkly ribbon coming out of the end. ”
Dharma’s wand looked a lot more like a toy wand than one of the wands that her mommy and daddy used for tooth fairy missions.
“Shamanaaanaaaaaaaaaaanananannan HaHa told me to put these pictures up on my wall in my room,” said Dharma dancing when she says Woopis name.
“Good idea Honey.” said Prana hanging up a small dream catcher in Dharma’s window.
“Let’s read: HEATHER, THE SCARED SILLY TOOTH FAIRY.” said Dharma.
Dharma sat on her mommies lap while they read the story. They giggled and pretended to be as silly as Heather when Heather was scared.
“I’ve got an idea mommy, maybe when I’m scared like Heather, I can pretend to blow out my candles. Cause that’s what she looked like in the picture book.” said Dharma yawning and stretching as she climbed into bed.
The next morning, Dharma’s mommy climbed into bed with her and started to rub her back.
“It’s time to wake up Honey,“ said her mommy hugging her. “You did it, you woke up twice last night, and you remembered your breathing tummy. YOU made it all the way thru the night. I’m so proud of YOU.”
